SRH940 to T70

Would you guys consider SRH940 to T70 an upgrade?

or should i just save my money for t5p??

I used them mostly when i'm travelling or when i'm in the library.

Isolation is a must.

Otherwise can you guys give me some recommendation for other closed headphones that are somewhat portable as well?

Some people recommended denons.. I'll have to try them first.

I prefer over-ears.

I listen to new age, jazz, classics, and kpop mostly. (Some hip hop and rap.)

Thank you

I don' think much people have tried both headphone as they are relatively recent.

However , if I compare the graph, it seems the main improvement of T70 over the srh940, is the bass.
Flatter frequency response in the bass - mid regions, and better square response.
Better isolation it seems too.
The improvement is less  obvious in bass (at least, just by looking at the graph) for the T50p

However one thing I don't like with the T70/T50p is the treble peak near 9khz (emphasis on percussions, can be fatiguing). I was already complaining of it with the srh940, and it seems worse with both the T50p/ T70.

i heard the dt1350 and the t70. i feel that the dt1350 would be a downgrade or side grade, soundstage is a lot smaller and detail is quite a lot worse. the t70 would be a much better, its quite airy for a close headphone, although most ppl do agree that it is not a very full sounding headphone.

They are both detailed and bright phones?

Sound similar but srh940 is more for monitor and t70 is more for music listening isn't it?
