Help with ~500US$ upgrade in Tokyo needed.

Hello! I have some leftover money this year and I am looking to do some serious upgrade of my setup.

Currently I have the following:

Sennheiser HD 380 Pro Full Size - For listening at home.

Sennheiser CX 400-II IEM - For listening on the road and at work.

FiiO E7 portable DAC - For driving both.

The music comes from either my notebook or my iPhone - 320k Mp3s or FLAC.

Using In ears all day is grating, so I want a closed one to use at work, and an upgrade for my home setup. My options seem to be:

1-) Buy a more expensive Full-size to use at home, and leave the Hd 380 at work.

2-) Buy a new DAC/Amp for home, and some cheap over ear for work.

Of course, suggestions would be very appreciated. Carrying my full-size to work is not out of the picture either.

Right now I have 40.000 Yen (~500 US$), and will buy everything in Tokyo. I tend to listen to Metal (almost every style outside of Death and Metalcore) and Classical, and I really want some big Soundstage, balanced Bass and great highs. Speed is also very important.

Any ideas? I might be able to expand a little on that budget if the effect is significant enough, but I would rather not.

Audio Technica AD2000? Should be easy to get in Japan.

They are a bit outside my budget (10k Yen off), but I will be sure to give them a try at the store.

My only concern is if my FiiO E7 will be enough to drive it to satisfaction.

Are you willing to go used? Maybe go for a RSA portable amp with DAC, and some HD650's.
