I have $100 for iPod Speakers.

I need a set of speakers that work awesome with the iPod with BASS. They don't have to be portable. Preferably a dock, but i figure that I could get a better pair of speakers that aren't docked. Thanks for the advice.

Fluance has some pretty good deals on the FiSDK500 sometimes.

The price varies, I think they had a $100 sale last month.

There are no docks below $100 with decent sound quality.  There is also nothing powered under $100 that will do low bass, like less than 50 hz.  You can get a mid-bass hump at 80 hz that tricks you into thinking there's bass.  Maybe that's what you think you want.

If you want good treble detail, you can go with some powered studio monitors.  The Behringer MS16 is surprising good for about $75.  The Akai RPM3 is also really good for about the same price, and it has a USB DAC/ADC built in, so you can hook it directly to a computer.  The RPM3 also has a bass boost switch that will give you that mid-bass hump.

On the budget you're looking at, the best bang for the buck is to go with something cheap like what I mentioned above that has good treble detail, and then add a subwoofer.  Monoprice.com has a 12 inch powered sub that does 30 hz for $85.  With a $75 pair of powered speakers and a $85 powered sub, you're over your stated budget, but you're honestly going to get crap if you try to do it any cheaper.

EDIT: Checked prices and updated.
