Im looking for something around the 100 dollar mark, i want something to replace my current sennheiser hd 238 and cx400ii ..something i could use to watch movies, play games, listen to music, at home and in loud public places, so i need some kind of ambient noise dampening as well as closed headphones so i dont disturb others.  i listening to almost everything from symphonic orchestras to dub step, but i lean more towards bass land.  so far i have been looking at the following:

Sony Xb700

shure 440

shure 240

sennheiser 280 pro

ath-m35

i was about to get the sony xb700 but found out they are open and leak alot of sound. which of these would best suit my needs?

Thanks

I'd go with the Koss DJ 100s. They are relatively bass heavy with forward mids and overall good detail retrieval for the price.

Only one of those headphones I've heard is the Shure 440, which comes very highly recommended, especially if you're listening to a range of stuff. They were the main contender for the price range in the recent 2011 Head-Fi holiday gift guide.
