Hi,

 

Merry Christmas all. :)

 

Just trying to set up my FiiO E9.. noob questions: 

 

I'm using it with an ASUS Xonar D2, so I'm using an RCA cable to try and connect the amp to the sound card, but it doesn't seem to be working.

 

I've got my headphones plugged into the 6.35mm jack, the red and white RCA cables into the back of the E9 and the other end of the RCA plugged into the sound card, but I get no sound output. Which socket do I put the RCA cable in on the sound card? 

 

Am I right in thinking the USB cable is only needed if I have an E7?

 

Anything else I'm doing wrong? thanks
