Sennheiser hd 229

I couldn't find much on these things, the Sennheiser HD 229's,  does anyone know anything about them? And how they stack against the ultrasone dj1's, or the hd 228's? I'm looking for a pair of headphones that I can use in the gym, throw in my bag, but have good bass impact, as I will be listening to mostly rap and hip hop on these headphones, and looking for an alternative to beats by dr. dre. 

Edit: Also any thoughts on the Sennheiser px100's?
