What Did You Get/Give For Christmas In 2011

Dear Head-Fi'ers,

 

I personally thought it would be interesting to know what people here on Head-Fi.org got/gave for Christmas from their family, friends, colleagues, etc. 

If you want you can also describe the actual (special) procedure or background.

Pictures are also welcome.

P.S.: Shouldn't be seen as an insult of and kind. Even if you don't celebrate christmas (are not christian)....

....i myself am not too much a fan of christmas / new year myself that's why for me, it is more about giving people attention and showing that you thought of them, rather than the actual price of the present....

I will start of then....

 

I gave:

 

- a cutlery set by Villeroy & Boch
- a small vase by Rosenthal

- a small porcelain elephant by Goebel 

1587-1587.jpg(the elephant by Goebel)


(many people i know, like porcelain & tableware)

 

 

I got:

 

- a Shirt by Emporio Armani

- a Scarf by Armani Jeans

 

- not much or expensive, but it makes people happy -

I like that porcelain Elephant, my first guess was that it was by the sadly deceased Govinder.

No, it should represent happiness, if i am not mistaken.

Govinder was an artist who died in a car crash.

I gave all my friends a family a message that there is no better time than now to appreciate each other and to be happy with each others company.

 

And my family and friends gave me a message that they wished I wasn't so cheap and hopefully next year I will buy them a present.

I gave tea to my mother and a blu-ray player to my father.

I received money, a stanley kubrick's book, american psycho book, several dvds and blu-rays and a few xbox/ps3 games.

Got: New brakes and rotors, Armani Code cologne, A Free Country jacket and some other small/random things

 

Gave: Oakley Jupiter LX glasses for my sister and a Franco Sarto purse for my mother.
