Cmoy in plastic enclosure. Dangerous?

I know the Cmoy uses virtual grounding. I'm not exactly sure what this is, but I'm guessing that it's using the metal case that the amp is enclosed in as a grounding of sorts.

Well, I salvaged some video game thing that I was hoping to use as the enclosure. It's 100% plastic. Will this be a problem for shorting/heat?

Edit: By "dangerous" I don't mean personally (as in injury/shock). I mean will it damage the amp.

No it will work fine the metal "Altoids" tins can be a pain with shorting which the plastic won't have, you'll loose a bit of shielding but in the real world it makes very little difference in most cases

cheers
