These are the options for an LOD I was looking at, do we believe this info by the salesman from Whiplash? Does this **** matter at all?

Twcu 26 - Great separation with real detail especially for copper. Has a
warmer response.

Twspc - Adds more mids and highs. Still good in the low end. Great voices.

SCSCag - amazing highs. Solid core wire. Super hirez.

Twag v2 Eclipse- One of the best wires out there. Opens everything up.
Incredible highs, mids. Soundstage is so very impressive. Bass has detail
and improves with burn in. My most popular wire by far. Very flexible..

Anyone? I basically ask if the type of cable does a difference on an LOD, which is basically what he says in the mail he sent me.

In my experience, the longer the stretch of cable that's being replaced, the easier it is to notice a change.  Some people get a lot of mileage out of LODs, and others do not, so it's worth experimenting to see if you fall into the former or latter category.

IMO, buy a FiiO/Oyaide LOD for $10 or so, which has the fancy wire in it, gold connectors and all that, and spend the money you've saved on better headphones. smile.gif
