For Sale:
SOLD Little Dot MK VIII SE Balanced Headphone Amplifier with EXTRA's

Will Ship To: USA, CANADA

SOLD SOLD SOLD..thanks for looking

have for sale a lightly used Little DOT MKVIII SE amp, very low hours maybe 30-50 hrs tops in a non-smoking house. Bought it in fall 2010. I just had a baby this year and unfortunately, have had no extra time for a headphone hobby. Looking for new home!

Amp Kit Comes with the following:

-High end MATCHED QUAD 6N30P-DR 6H30 Pi SUPER TUBES -MY 1994 from Russia (cost me $350 on Ebay). If you you read this then you know how good these puppies truly are! Check the reviews, the chinese knock-off tubes that come with the original amp do not make it justice..well worth the investment

-MUNDORF MCAP Supreme made in Germany output Capacitors upgrade. (not a DIY mod - this installation was done by a local pro audio shop in Toronto). Fully tested ($250 modification)

Music sound absolutely marvelous from this amp with the right headphones. I have tried HD800 and Audeze LCD-2 in balanced mode and was stunned by the results!

The amp new with shipping is about $850 USD.

I am asking a fair $975 + shipping in North America for everything. Sorry no trades ! Low ballers will be politely ignored

Thanks for your interests and happy holidays!

Thanks for your reply.

One other question:

I have the Sennheiser HD 650 headphones with single ended plug (not XLR) which I would use with this amp.  I have read some reports that some people hear "hum" or "buzzing" when using Little Dot amps with single-ended plug.  I am not sure if it is this model MK VIII SE.  I think I read an article which said XLR is the way to go with this amp, not single-ended plug.  Would this work well with my Sennheiser HD 650 headphones with plug?

I have never heard a hum thru the headphones with this amp - completely silent. Converting your Senn 800 to XLR output is easy: just change the plug to 4 pin
