Hmm, well I was a tad disappointed with the sound quality of the Beats demos. The Studios were extremely comfortable though... And with the gift card I have, they'd only be $30.

What's everyone's opinion of the LP2 and M-80 by V-Moda? Are they comfy for long term use? Is an amp required?

Buy the Pro, resell it to a friend, and use that money to purchase a V-Moda M80 (and you'll still have some cash left to spend).

The M80 has been receiving considerable laudation on the forum, though I'm uncertain whether it's exaggerated. Regardless, it at least indicates the M80 won't disappoint.

Regarding the LP2, unless it is a considerable upgrade from the LP, I would steer clear. I haven't heard the LP2, so this is speculation, perhaps even conjecture, but I did not enjoy the LP enough to even consider demoing the LP2.
