Which color Beats Studio is your favorite?

First off, I know there's a lot of animosity towards the Beats products. I normally use a Shure SE535, but I'm starting to want some bass heavy headphones when I listen to rap music for extended periods of time. A friend of mine can get me Beats Studios for $150 and Beats Pro for $200. The Beats Studio were extremely comfortable while the Pros definitely felt tighter. As comfortable as my SE535s are, the discomfort of the Pros definitely didn't feel worthwhile. Do you all agree that Studios are a decent buy for $150? I tested a pair, and they definitely sounded worse than my SE535 except when it came to bass heavy rap songs where I wanted to feel stronger bass.

Anyways... What color Beats do you like the most? I love the regular White ones, but the others are all growing on me!

I think you have better options for that price, for bass heavy music you can get ultrasone hfi580, shure750dj or audio technica m50, this headphones are bass heavy and excellent for rap music, same or less price than you said, and all of them are much better than beats.
However if i have to buy the beats i prefer white colour.

The Studios are not worth $150 for bass heavy music IMO, it has almost no sub bass. The Pros are a little bit overpriced for $200 but its not too bad. I'd say the white Pros are something I'd pick up if I were you. Enjoy your Christmas beerchug.gif

I dont know if best buy sell that headphones, i have searched and i saw sennheiser hd25, which for me is better than the others i said before, but more expensive, i have it and i have compared to beats, and hd25 is better in all aspects without doubts.

White because I favor white electronics in general. But I agree with those that say that there are a bunch of better options for less or the same price.

The studio may not be worth $100. The XB500 seems like it is a great alternative to them and it cost like what...80? The pro seems like it could be worth $120 give or take but I'm not sure, I've never heard it personally.

 

 

Edit: I think the white one is pretty cool.

No love for the sleek look of black electronics? When I see white electronics I just think that the company is trying to give off some sort of "Apple" type look.

 

And silver electronics look really tacky. We all know it's plastic. Stop trying to fool us.

It really depends. I prefer a matte white when it is available. Glossy white is less desirable but still better than black. Matte black is also preferred over glossy black. I'm a big gamer and tend to import white/light grey models from Japan that don't make it here. Specifically the white Sega Saturn. :)

I've used the beats studio and pros. I think my M50s (which were $120) beats them. Maybe not in the quantity, but definitely in quality and extension. I also find them to be far more comfortable.
