Hi guys and merry Christmas smily_headphones1.gif

Im looking at buying a amp for my denons, and i found thr wa6 from woo audio, but i keep finding different opinions about it, some say its not tube sounding, others say the denons Will like the burson ha-160 more but that is a tube sounding amp, and finally people saying the wa6 is made for it?

Last problem; im going to buy another pair of headphones (a open one) and i would like to keep the amp im buying to that also smily_headphones1.gif

Im not gonna hear that im missing the last 1% performance, but i like the bass performance and area, so the amp must have a force in that department smily_headphones1.gif

Luxman or a vintage receiver would work fine. Tons of options and threads on this.

Was listening to some Christmas carol from the schiit Lyr to my denon,
Very energized, lively and tight...best amp I found this year.

either the lyyr or the wa6 will be a good choice for denon as well as the burson. its all up to you. they are all fantastic sounding amps and you will like either one.

if you can get your hands on a WA6SE, get that hands down. the best amp i've ever heard. works for any headphone and just has so much power behind it.
