I've only posted on here a couple of times and I had looked for some suggestions for full-size headphones usable for home audio listening. While I didn't go through with my purchase as originally planned, I am planning on buying a pair of IEMs, but I want to be reasonable about the cost. The amount stated in the title is the absolute maximum that I can spend without my wife going crazy, and I'm open to suggestions. I'm currently eyeing IEMs that would be good for alternative and indie rock music, with the occasional bass-heavy hiphop/dubstep track. I'm using my iPhone 4 as my primary listening device, with my laptop handling secondary duties for listening.
