Westone UM1 Team Edition vs. Sennheiser IE6?

Both of these are very comparable in price. My music tastes are in my profile. I prefer a detailed sound with some nice bass punch. No sharp high ends, please. Any thoughts? I would be using these un-amped from a Galaxy Nexus.

If you prefer a detailed sound with nice bass punch, the Westone UM1s can provide that. I seriously find the Sennheiser IE6s to have too much bass and destroys all the detail.

Thanks for that. Anything in the ~$125 price range that would be better for my tastes than the UM1?

Unless you get one of those $90+ deals and it will be waaay below the budget ;). But now it's $170+

For below $125, you can get the Westone 1, Etymotic HF5, UE700 or TDK BA100. All which suits your preference very well.
