Klipsch Custom 1 IEM: Not Working?

I have a pair of old Klipsch Custom 1 IEMs. I love them, but recently the left earphone is constantly losing sound. I have to turn the jack a certain way for sound the come through. Also, there is a constant background static noise. 

 

Is there a cheap way to fix this?

I don't think so. Unless you bring it to a shop and ask them to check it for you. But I guess Klipsch discontinued their "Custom" line because they probably had a lot of design and engineering flaws.
