For Sale:
IC: Stax SR-Lambda (rebuilt drivers) + SRD-7/SB, Stax SR-202 + SRM-212

Will Ship To: Anywhere

Ideally, I'd like to keep at least one of these Stax systems and sell the other (don't need two), but I can't tell if anyone's interested in either, hence the interest check.

The vintage Lambda had its drivers rebuilt some time ago and the mineral wool in the earcups removed. It does work with no serious imbalance between drivers. The green cloth on the earpads was applied before I got it for comfort reasons. The SRD-7/SB is completely stock and functional.

The SR-202 is also in working order, but may have a slight squeal out of the right driver on rare occasions. No imbalance. The SRM-212 is stock and functional; while it does come with a 100V AC adapter, a 120V-to-100V step-down transformer (not shown in the pictures) is included.

With this being an interest check, you can PM me with any questions and offers.

I sold him the older Lambdas. They have the true vintage stax sound signature. I found them to be very smooth and flowing. Excellent trader.

Just out of curiosity what price were you looking at for the 202 set up you have?

Didn't think you'd come to back me up here...for that matter, I wasn't expecting to actually prefer that set to the SR-202.

Just goes to show how well vintage Stax holds up...too bad that even these relatively lightweight frames hurt your neck. It really is a delightful sound.

$375 + shipping and PayPal fees is my initial price. Of course, I'm open to negotiation through PM.
