High quality IE under 200$

I am looking for some IEs that deliver quality, immersive sound. I listen to a lot of progressive house, trance, house, so ill need something that delivers some good bass,  but at the same time, needs to be dynamic enough to handle intricacies and instrumentals that are often showcased in the music I listen to. Namely, the work of Andrew Bayer, Jaytech, Soundprank etc....

I am considering either the Shure SE 215 or Monster Turbines...Are these good choices? Any alternate suggestions?

Help me out !

Thanks ;)

The JVC FXT90, UE TF10Pro, Sony EX600, EX7550, Sennheiser IE8, MTP Copper are very good sounding IEMs and shows hidden details with great bass response, they all are good match for above genres music.

You can also count Vsonic GR07 into that list.

What are your thoughts on Shure SE215 and the Turbines?

Just as a side remark, I find the turbine pro coppers to be way too flashy...they would be so much better if they looked like the regular turbines...

I think you should give the ClarityOne or FXT90 a look too.

Turbines are better than 215 IMHO. I own the Turbines and have heard the Shure SE215s at a store and I have to say that the Turbines have better and smoother highs than the 215. Turbines also have pretty neutral mids and are a little laid-back compared to the Shure SE215's forward mids. Turbine would have better lows, it's deeper and fuller sounding while packing more punch than the SE215s. All this is my opinion of course, YMMV.

The turbine is not a bad choice if you can land it from amazon/street price. Great bass but i didn't like the slightly V-shaped presentation and  laid back mids. Not worth the retail price imo (At least in SG).

The Shure SE215 was a bad experience for me, lots of problems with the cable but i think they fixed it now. The mid-orientated sound was to my liking. Plenty of mid-bass but the sub bass and treble is mediocre.

I recommend the JVC-FXT90 and VSonic GR07. Love these dynamic iems.

I got to agree they have laid back mids, but I find them rather detailed as I can hear things like the guitar strumming. I did not really like the SE215s for their lack of mids, for they might be even lesser in amount than the Klipsch S4, one which I did not like the highs at all.

You can also look at the UE700s or Triple.fi 10(under $200 on Amazon). The triple.fi 10 crushes both the Turbines and the SE215.
