Sony MDR-7506 vs MDRZX700; so similar in price/acclaim, that i just can't decide.

Going to upgrade from my senns to some sony cans, because i've felt lately that my senns have the attitude of a frozen stone. I've chosen Sony as the next brand, because of its availabilty.

So anyways, any of you guys had the chance to try both of them headphones? I feel like i'm comparing an F-22 with a Su-27.

 

EDIT: Cans i currently have are the HD280 PRO

Eh, which Sennheiser are you coming from... ?

 

And why Sony?

 

What are you planning to listen to mostly? What's your source? Do you need closed-back phones?

Oh, my bad! The senns are the HD 280.

And yeah, sony, beacuse I don't have those fancy brands like audio-technica, grados, shure, etc., around here; so at best, some sony will be more available.
