Not sure why but it does seem as the number go higher so does the price... So maybe that is why they may be going for up to $800.00 lol because they skipped a digit.

Bought these on whim, for your basic train ride to work I don't mind. But its far from being the best I have own.

First, I should note that I auditioned these both straight out of the box, without any break-in time and then later after 53 hours of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite...

A very all-round headphone for me. Just the right one to take on the go or on holiday. Also as a DJ, nice noice isolation. Very durable so you don't have to wonder if it will break if you throw...

This quick review is done after a few hours of listening. I bought them from B&H for the decent sum of 150$. If you've done your research you'll find out that Ultrasone HPs are known for their...

haha maybe that's how they justify the high prices, its like the 'zero' on the model number has to mean a zero onto the price!
But judging from the IE8, IE6 and IE80s, I wouldn't really pay that much for a sennheiser IEM, seeing their others already have too much bass for me.
as of now there is no word about the IE10. even if IE10 should be released..dont you think it should be a downgrade lol.. IE60 is a lower model than the IE80..so technically speaking the IE10 should be the lowest end model lol.. I spoke to an engineer for sennheiser in germany and he said they are hoping to unveil the ie60, and the ie80 as main IEMS at CES 2012, and when questioned about a IE10 he wasnt aware of that.. and said maybe it was a fake pair coming out lol
