How to make headphones more comfortable?

I have a set of m-30's and they aren't the most comfy set in the world. I am wondering if, short of swapping the pads, there is any way to make them more comfortable?

Waste of time simply bumping your thread.

How can anyone help, you don't state what makes them uncomfortable - for you.  Comfort isn't universal, one mans comfortable headphone is another's unwearable nightmare. Do they clamp too hard?  Do they hurt your ears?  Is the headband hurting the top of your head? 

 

Basically, you can bend them to reduce clamping (sometimes), change pads to reduce heat or to alter the fit (also can change how they sound though) or you can change the headband padding, but you can't wave a magic wand.

Thanks for replying. After wearing them for a while they start to make me ears (The outer part at the back hurt and i cant wear them for much longer.) It affects both ears.

It may be an issue of too much clamping force. Have you tried stretching them over a small box for 24 hours to see if they loosen up? If not that, you can try padding them further by cutting out pieces of foam to insert under the existing padding in the cups. Replacing pads is another comfort thing you can do. Then again, sometimes no amount of changes can make a set of headphones comfortable to you.

Also look into some custom leather pads, they will feel 10x better.

I guess those fine, but i looked at those and they look like the same thing i have for 80% cheaper.

I have pads that look just like that for $3 a pair. Not trying to sell you anything, but i looked at the link and they look the exact same pretty much.
