New open headphones ( DT990 pro vs HE-300)?

So i decided to get get a set of open headphones for christmas, the choice was really between hd650, he-300 and dt990.

Since i cant find any place that sells hd650 to canada for under 1 million dollars (more like 440 but still expensive).

The he-300 are 249 | the dt990 pro are 180(shipped plus i was told they are the same as the primum).

I have a EF-2A dac/amp , mostly listen to indie, pop and soft rock and some old stuff like (pink floyed, MJ, beatles).

Any advice?

 

(not sure how good of a decision of avoiding the 701 but i like at lest some impact)

Heya,

 

DT990 PRO will have a lot of bass.

HE-300 will sound pretty flat across the board.

 

Both will suit your needs, it's just more a matter of, do you want lots of bass, or do you want something that is more neutral?

The dt-990 has a lot of treble too.  Here's my impression of the dt990, "I have crazy bass and trebles!  I am a high end headphone!".
