My setup when away from home is a RE0, and a Sansa Clip +. I enjoy it quite a lot, but I keep hearing that the RE0 benefit from an amp. Thus, I am wondering if I should get a portable amp like a fio e11 or e5. I couldn't do anything too expensive, $100 would have to be my limit.
Also, at home, I use a Pioneer VSX-921, which is connected to my computer via optical, to power my Sennheiser 558. I know that the receiver has a speaker amp, but would something like an e11 or e5 be an improvement in this setup as well?
