Over ear headphones, budget 150-200 dollars. Best recommendations?

Hi I had a pair of Dre Beats solo, and concluded like many of you have posted that they are a waste of money. I'm looking for a new pair in the price range of about 150-200 dollars and wanted to know if anyone had any recommendations?

I listen to rock music mostly. Looking for a closed pair, and pretty portable

My suggestion would be the Sennheiser HD25-1 ii or the Beyerdyanmic T50P. Both are on-ears like the Beats Solo.
