I've got one of those Zoom H4n handy recorders and my Sennheiser HD 428 broke so I need some headphones to replace them.

I use them with the recorder for the guitar but thing is I would like something that I could jam out with on the computer and have impressive base yet pleasing highs and mids.

I realize that getting something that is not neutral and flat like a monitor headphone will change my guitar recording  but I am willing to make a compromise.

I like to listen to NIN, they have some nice deep bass and I want to be able to hear it  Yet I like high sound quality like your surrounded in your world with depth and space between the instruments. 

I can spend like 40-50 bucks

 

I had the Koss Porta pro, but  and threw it all away like a fool.

I'm eyeing up the selection at Amazon
