You can always buy the velour pads separately. I personally like the pleather pads, and I'm happy I got two pairs of them.

Quite honestly, I don't know because I prefer the pleather. I figure the Fischer Audio store will sell them once it opens?

I emailed Frogbeats about the possibility of getting velour pads, still no response. I might've tried GD-Audiobase if their site wasn't down, but even then I doubt I'd get a response anyway. I've emailed them several times before the last couple months and never once got a response.

Hi Guys,

 

I was looking at the FA-003's, but have ended up with both the Lindy and HM5's.

 

Both came with the carrying case, and 2 pleather pads. The cabling choices are different between the two though.

 

The Lindy's come with a long cable and a 6.5mm adaptor.

 

The HM5's come with a long and short cable with a 6.5mm adaptor and an airplane adaptor as well.

 

As for prices, the Lindy's can be got for just under £70 at CableUniverse.

I got the HM5's for ~ £75 from Mp4Nation

I've purchased from frogbeats before and they provide some fantastic customer service, but unfortunately the ~40% price difference was a bit too much for me. I do think the new cup design look nicer, and I'd love some velour pads, but in this case head won out over heart :(
