Brainwavz M4 - How to put on the Foam Tips? (probably a dumb question)

Hi,

 

Just received some Brainwavz M4's in the post, I'm trying to put the foam tips on but they just do not seem to fit? Am I missing something?

 

I've tried pushing quite hard and it deforms the foam but the tip does not go on. There is some plastic inside the foam tips, it would probably fit without that, are you meant to remove it?

No, the plastic is supposed to be there afaik.

Erm no,don't remove it.just tilt the foam like 45 degrees while the nozzle is 90degrees and push it as you make the foam back to 90 degrees.
