Im a new head-fi er and i was wondering if there was a cheap pair of iems that dont cost a grand. Thanks!

I haven't used them myself, but from what I've read/seen/heard, the MEE Electronics series are well priced for the quality they provide. I own a pair of Shure SE110s that I got a few years back for about $100. You can get them for about $40 now on Amazon if you go for the pink model. Amazing deal, and great headphones, if you're not a basshead.
