Atrios with the Digizoid is amazingly good, IMO. No distortion at all.

I know you weren't asking me, but that's usually how I use mine. The Digizoid is best with my Atrios and my Beyer 1350s.

I just got this IEM, currently burning it but the driver flex is very noticeable.  Sometimes the sound is completely cut off.  I am having a very hard time finding the right fit.  Although I know for sure that the smallest double flange is the tip to use in my ears.  Does anybody experience this?

I don't think there should be any driver flex at all since they are vented dynamic drivers... I thought that was for sealed BA drivers, or am I mistaken?

Either way, I don't hear what you're hearing on my set.

Does it pair well with digizoid or too much distortion ? Is your zoid the latest 2.3 version ?

I've never used the two because I always thought the Atrio was spot on as it is. I would test it out for you, but I can't find the cable that goes with my ZO. My educated guess tells me that it would probably sound great as Focker said. Although I definitely don't think it needs any more bass.

I've never had any of these problems. You might have gotten a lemon if it's cutting off.

Try the medium flange for fit, though. I don't have big ears and the smalls didn't work at all for me, but the mediums work well.

I do. When you get a perfect seal, you create a semi-vacuum in your ear and the driver can't move. It's a natural weakness of closed-design dynamic-driver IEMs.

You must let some air in. However, if you later push your IEM deeper inside your ear, you'll also push some air out, thus creating a vacuum effect again.

Really, I don't see any holes or ports for the air to get out.

The medium is too big to my "virgin ears" everytime I get a new IEM I look for the smallest tips and they always seem to fit the best.  The foam tips are too mushy and uncomfortable to my liking.  Though the soundstage with them is better.  I have burned my unit for more than 30 hours already but the sound difference is not that pronounced.  I am not a skeptic with burn in but these don't seem to improve with burn in.

Only the right side cuts off completely.  Also this is the IEM with the WORST driver flex I had.  I sounds like a paper is being crumpled in my ears and the first time that driver flex cuts off the sound completely, others just pop or crunch.

These are very wonderful IEMs if only they could not flex.

Great, as I saw one reviewer on youtube with ZO 2.0 saying the distortion was bad out of an iphone on anything over 25% boost before not with these earphones.....,but was worried the ZO2.3 would be a waste of time but it seems to add to the soundstage of most earphones and I'm also thinking of getting modded Fostex T50RP as well as Atrio's to bring in the missing link bass to the Fostex modder planar magnetics.

A good mix I hope Atrios MG7's + Modded Fostex's T50RP (for around same price as 1x  Hifiman HE-400) .......and digizoid as the icing on the audio cake !

Ive seen a few people mention distortion on the ZO, but not everyone understands which setting it's supposed to be in for which source. Mine is dead quiet. They offer a return policy on the ZO, and their customer support is fantastic, so if you do try it out and you have an issue, they'll work with you to troubleshoot.

Hi guys, I have a question. Ordered my unit through atrio.me on March 6th. They send me the confirmation. Almost 3 week passed and nothing. From where they sending? US or Canada? And why it's so slow. I tried to email them but no response. Is it only me, or other people have similar experiences?

When I ordered mine a few months back, it only took a few days. I'm fairly certain they ship from their US distribution center for Us orders... I remember being surprised how quick it was. Definitely contact them and see what the issue is.

Hi
Could you compare this MG7 to Vsonic GR07 Bass Edition? Or Monster Turbine Pro (Gold/Copper/Miles Davis) ?

Comparing MG7 to gr07 Bass edition is like comparing a limousine to monster truck.  They are that different.

The Atrio is fun the gr07 is flat (yes even the bass ed).

I got some Atrio a few days ago but I have not tried the GR07... Apparently the GR07 are a flat frequency response whereas I would describe the Atrio MG7 as a "U" shape eg. exaggerated bass and treble with a slightly recessed midrange. They are a little lacking in soundstage but I do think I prefer them to my Shure SE215 overall due to the awesome sub bass and more energetic treble.

When I first got the Atrio I didn't like them because of the fit and the soundstage but after using some Shure olive tips and getting used to them I think I will keep them Atrio.... The bass on the Atrio MG7 is addictive!
