Seriously Guys, I just can't believe the silly situation on Sennheiser bits in the UK!

So the Sennheiser HQ is based just across the channel in Germany and we're both part of the EU, so you'd THINK that parts would be easily available and reasonably priced.

In fact it's VERY hard work.

You CAN buy direct from Sennheiser but the bit of the site where HD580/600/650 spares live can't actually be navigated to as far as I can see:

I found it via various obscure Google search results and then just book-marked the damn thing!

On top of that, even this has a very limited selection, but they are at least OK price-wise. HD580/600/650 ear-pads are £41 inc. postage direct, whereas I've seen them at anything up to £58+ postage through rip-off resellers.

Out of desperation I've now e-mailed Sennheiser in Germany to let them know that loyal customers in the UK are either being left out in the cold or totally ripped-off for what should be basic maintenance items.

If it wasn't for the fact that the stupid things sound so good, I would give up bothering.

Given that they weigh mere grammes, I'd order from the US but no-one will seem to ship them overseas.

Sorry for the rant but it just really annoys me!
