I've owned them a while and I think that they have great bass.  It's odd to me that you would find it lacking.  I couldn't get a good seal with any of the stock tips, now I use the Sony hybrids or Comply foam and they're top notch earphones if you ask me.

I agree Ham. The bass is great. I just do not think it is overemphasized as a lot of people claim it is. If the song has a lot of bass the IEM's present it accurately if the song doesn't than you will not hear any.

some have smaller ear canals....and the bass cant really exert itself.

i say this from personal encounters, its just another possiblity this iem is NOT suited to your type of ears.

i like the bass of the turbineGold..its solid without being booomy...and the sound is liquid gold..smooth and endearing.

Thanks for the imput, after much fiddling around with tips and different types of music I finally understand the bass of these headphones, I was expecting too much bass from songs without much to begin but once I put some music with very low bass i finally heard what these headphones are all about, super clear and punchy without muddying up the rest of the sound, my other genres sound great too! Thanks for all the tips, I think i might keep these beasts

Which songs did it for you?

Are you sure they lack bass? After trying that at a shop, first thing I noticed was bass. These are very warm IEMs. But they probably need a long burn-in time, seeing that my turbines sounded horrible right out of the box but awesome after just 5 hours of burn in time ^^

Its more quality that quantity in terms of bass for the MTPG.
