Folks, I'm trying to establish the output impedance of the Ipod Nano 2G. There is no info on the web (I've searched hard).
I want to get a friend a particular IEM but it is already weak on bass and with a low impedance it's going to be very unsatisfactory if his Nano is putting out the usual 7 ohms. But maybe it isn't as ech model seems to have a different output impedance (modern Nanos have a low one).
If you have a DMM then there is a way of testing for the output impedance and I would be very grateful if someone could do it to their Nano 2G.

It's on a head-fi banned member's site so in the interests of not stirring up trouble I've given a tinyurl.
Search for DMM on that page.
Thanks for any help!!!!!
