The inbuilt headphone amp is really superb, particularly for low impedance phones. It drives my LCD2 very well. This amp has its own independent DA converter.
Firewire. Mac only, but can be configured (on a Mac) to work as a standalone converter via AES digital input.
Will throw in a free DB25 breakout cable for analogue out (xlr terminated). The unit also has two balanced TRS (L + R) outputs as an alternative for channels one and two.
