Dear Headfiers,
I'm thinking of buying some iems to replace the nuforce ne-6's that I lost.
I'm fairly rough on my stuff, so I'm really attracted to Koss' lifetime warrentee.
Any thoughts on the Koss kdx 300 vs the kdx 200?
The kdx 200 looks better made and is cheaper.
However, I've never heard either.
For the record, I've had the nuforce ne6 (accidentally severed a chord shadowboxing, bought another and lost it. Miss it), ne7m (electronics fried on two pairs), and 700cx (great sound, no isolation). I've also had the UE 3 (painful fit, peaky trebles).
I'm a huge jazz fan (Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins). I also like classical (Bach), baroque, folk, blues, and the occasional rock guitar. I occasionally indulge in Imogen Heap.
Isolation is a must.
I'm stuck in a dental office all day with annoying Chipmunks christmas carols/speed metal playing all day in a very high stress environment.
Anyways, your thoughts, suggestions are appreciated as always.
-Matthew
