Also, many K701/2 owners suggest 100 to 200 hours of burn-in for the sound to really open up.

ill compare again after burn in and see if all the fuss is true.

i change my mind. my budget now is around $300 or less for a new DAC that goes well with my M stage and k701.
my Xonar Dx is fine ATM but its always good to know whats for a future upgrade.
