My main can is HD650 and I love its warm, rich sound, but sometimes I am in the mood of listening with cans with analytical, detailed sound with large soundstage. That is why I also have a K702 to complement my HD650, but now I need to do some recording work occasionally, so I am thinking it may be better for me to buy a closed can to replace the K701, but at the same time can complement my HD650 (cannot afford to keep all three), I am wondering if SRH840 suits my need? I appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.
