I think the term "snake oil" is only applied on products that are both marketed with outlandish/esoteric descriptions in combination with a premium price. A premium price to grant further credibility to these statements. Anyway, I think all has been said. I'll wait for the reviews and will refrain from posting until then.

Ah yes? Please clarify ... show me a single line, where I directly discredited the Teraplayer. Maybe it is fantastic, I don't know, I only ask for ABX proof on an interested crowd, who hasn't heard any of the mentioned devices.

On the other side, I've clearly seen someone classifying the DX100 .... which isn't even out, yet. I don't mind criticism. But it should be based in reality and on facts.

Hm ... I feel that some members here are in a bad and stressed mood.

The only explanation I have for this low vibration, is prolonged exposition to bad sound quality.

Did you know that listening to inferior equipment can make you feel bad ?

Especially sigma-delta converters on portable equipment, they really wear you out, they pull your nerves.

If you were having good sound, you would be much more positive about everything.

Just relax a little, everything will be good and fall into place,

Let the good vibes roll,

I lol'ed.

30,000 USD? Is that for limited time only as well? :<

Yeah, those people who post such comments must have been exposed to bad sound quality for a long time. Due to this fact, you need to buy a magnificent hand crafted player with an incredible sound quality... Which unfortunately will cost you more than $1000.

Okay,

I think there are no more pressing questions concerning the Tera-Player right now.

So let me step back for a while, I got work to do.

If somebody still has questions feel free to email me.

(You will find my email on the tera-player.com website).

I enjoyed the conversation,

Thanks to all,

Charles :)

You question has already been answered on the 1st page of this thread: no, the tera-player only supports SDHC cards.

Same way Sowon J3 is specified to only support up to 32GB and still takes 64GB without problems, I would like to know from someone who tried.

The same thing is with many Androdoid phones and other devices.

With 800 Euros I'd make an entrance into Hi-fi. But hey, I'm open to the possibility that a DAP for that much can sound great. We've probably all been listening to crap players and crap files - I don't dispute that.

Question is: Can someone else make the exact same thing and sell it for $300 or less and still make a profit?

mbamg,

A valid question and one that I'm inclined to reply positively to.

It's a pity that Charles hiked up the Tera-Players price to 800 odd Euro's, as I paid 499 for mine and am extremely happy with the superb sound and diminutive size, but it's questionable whether it's worth an extra 300 Euro's.

Cheers.
