Well it took me about 4 months for Grisaia no Kajitsu, but I had already finished the common route before I took my 3 month break. The story is non-linear after the common route as well, so it did not affect my enjoyment or pacing.

I have yet to try that one. It's usually more expensive than the normal flavours and it almost never goes on sale. >.>

Speaking of Pocky, am I the only one who hates green tea-flavoured products?
Starbuck's green tea frappuccino is disgusting, so is most green tea flavoured ice cream. I had grean tea flavoured Kit-Kats last year and they were pretty gross, and likewise for the matcha-flavoured green tea Pocky that I just had.

The only green tea-flavoured product that I have enjoyed was a Korean sesame tapioca bread like this:
http://kirbiecravings.com/2010/06/korean-sesame-tapioca-bread.html

and only because the typical gross seaweed-like taste/aftertaste is absent.

Will do!

Well the average IS a average 8.74... so 8.4 isn't too far off I suppose? A lot of the thrill comes from actually reading the whole novel within a close time frame though.

Yeah, all personal taste I suppose.

Huh...rich chocolate my butt. It was just like regular 'ol milk chocolate and seemed less chocolatey than even the regular chocolate flavour. -_-

Still can't beat this in terms of chocolate flavour:

Rich is usually paired with dark chocolate, not milk. The chocolate itself was a lighter brown like typical Hershey's milk chocolate.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaiit, what are you talking about?

Combine the crunch from the pretzel stick and the smooth milk chocolate and you have a taste that is almost identical to a Kit Kat. These milk chocolate Pocky have a wonderful snap to them the instant you take a bite. Pack a pouch with your lunch for a sweet treat!

Lol, I'll have to try some of the men's pocky next time it's available...

Companies tend to get the flavor totally wrong or use really schitt quality tea to make their extract. Can't stand must green tea flavored things...or most of the western brand attempts at green tea, especially if they're in teabags.

Yeah, I generally give two scores. One score on how much I liked it, and another score that throws away most of my subjective bias leaving only my objective (yet still biased, in the sense that the criteria I use is of course another form of bias, although this one is a lot less subjective and dependent on enjoyability form me) thoughts on the matter.

I could tell why many would love G Senjou but it was luke warm for me. The Tsubaki arc was the best.

I guessed I over hyped myself? Throughout the entire Haru arc and after. I kept waiting for the 'awesome' to come. Nothing really ever came tbh. Most situations during the Haru arc to the epilogue, once you were in the situational scene, can be pretty easy to guess on what will happen.

That must be a really really old hard drive? Did you use an external enclsosure on some old HDD or....was it just some really old model?

Just spent he last 3 hours watching the 2009 movie, HUA MULAN

That was some VERY bad movie editing they got going on there in terms of next scene cuts. Whoever did this either is an amateaur OR was given really schitty footage to edit

So, speaking of durian...

D571D2683FC51BAAB489AB6F54D707084BC357BA

Bought at about 2-3 thousand pix - roughly 1/3 the price. Sold at 20 000 pix, at 250%.
Probably could have raised to 300%.
Capitalism, ho!

It's a WD blue laptop drive manufactured in May 2011 according to the information on the drive. It was in my netbook until October of 2013, when I moved it to an external USB enclosure where it's been storing my music and anime ever since. Good news is that it's not mission critical data, I just have to temporarily stop watching the shows I had on it, but meh no big deal.

Thinking I'll probably go grab one from Staples tomorrow and try the good ol' freezer trick to get the drive to spin up again. Will probably also try and get ahold of a SATA port with USB 3 as well so I can pull info off the drive as quickly as possible.

Spent a couple hours doing research. While I want a decent watch, I'm not really that much into watch-fi, so I wanted to keep it as cheap as possible while still getting good quality. I set a budget of about €100.

Probably going to buy the black face Orient Union

Welcome to the wonderful world of watches. Still baffled by how people still stick to "shoving hands into pocket just to see time" > "glance at wrist". Especially during winter, where every second you waste fumbling around is a second too long outside in the cold. Sure there's that argument of looking at notifications on your smartphone, but I find that stupid.

What's the texture like for durian? Andrew Zimmern tried it on his Bizarre Foods TV show and he said it was one of the few foods he can't eat. XD

Can't say I know how to describe it really. When you cracked open the spiky shell outside, the fruit inside it is kind of soft. It has a sort of "film" that contains the cream-like "meat" of the fruit. If this "film" is still intact, I'd say it'll feel like poking at breasts.
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
chicken breasts.

Otherwise once you put it in your mouth, it's like... custard maybe? Texture wise of course, as taste is a whole new level of bitter, sweet, sour and not salty, some metallic tinge and imminent hangover.

Hmm, maybe I have stronger tolerance to that kind of comedy. I don't really know why it works though, kind of like how Non non biyori surprisingly works. But I hate every episode that has the oversize-oppai'd mermaid in it. Useless absurd sexual character.

Oh **** son, I need to get back to this. Only thing worse is that it shows how bad I am at economics. I've been operating at a loss for a few "game end" until I read on how to operate a shop properly.

Impromptu question: worth it to ditch the CD drive on my laptop for an SSD? kind of not so old, with a i7 2670 and nvidia gt635m. maybe I should keep this for the occasional need to be mobile (even though it's 15.6" and kind of heavy to lug around) and just budget for a above average rig...

Yes. No question about it. Unless you really really need that CD drive. Even my freaking three year old netbook improved with a two year old Intel SSD.

Guess I haven't been here for quite a while... Been buzy typing up lecture notes for mini-course on stagecraft I'll be teaching.
No progress on fortissimo EXS since I hit that bad end on new year's eve. (no idea where to start again, no walkthrough)
