Liking rewrite so far. I've been playing it a bit more since I got my tablet. I've also been keeping track of my hours and I'm about 8.5 hours into it, or I just finished the event where Kotori finds the super overpowered pig dog thing.

Tablet? :o. I used to play Rewrite on my surface pro sometimes out in public since it's an all-ages VN :P.

Ooooh, you're in for a pretty funny scene soon... real life mmo-style farming!

Yep, this one: http://www.asus.com/in-search-of-incredible/us-en/asus-transformer-book-t100/

Despite its weird quirks, I really like it, especially for the $300 I paid for it including tax.

Lolol, I'll have to keep reading it soon then. Gotta finish up reading TWGOK manga first though.

Anyone here studying in the medical field?

I'm trying to find 5 images of the stages of brain atrophy. Like a picture of the physical brain.

I can only find normal vs severe alzheimers comparisons. like this

http://www.documentingreality.com/forum/f10/normal-brain-compared-alzheimers-brain-134824/

or http://csua.berkeley.edu/~wuhsi/images.html

But I'm trying to find 5 images that have a more gradual comparison of the physical brain over time.

I don't have unrestricted access from my laptop but I guess you can always check related articles with photos in pubmed.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?term=brain+atrophy

Show me later what you get! :-)

Oh nice, how is he liking them? I'm not too much of a fan of the Sennheiser or Vmoda's. The sound is too dark and 'muffled' for my tastes

Funny thing: your hobbies are art, art and more art and I supposed you were a designer/architect student... I wasn't expecting such request.. my apologies for focusing on stereotypes.

They're just puffed rice crackers with a soy sauce/sweet flavour.

I'm not sure how much they weigh. 4 pounds?

You can do that...although I'm not sure how many actual brains will be shown as opposed to images from scans and/or models.

Evidently you haven't heard those Sennheisers then. XD
They're anything but dark and muffled.

I haven't seen the Wan Wan brand before.

Finally got to try these. I have no idea what flavour it's supposed to be. Adult milk?

They just taste like milk chocolate, but the biscuit is a lot crunchier compared to the standard Pocky sticks. It's like eating a chip as opposed to a cookie.

On page 8/84 of the search. Found this so far, http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3101879/#  (Although they're not really stages, I'd rank them A,D,B,C in severity)

but will continue to see if I can find any better ones.

I will be using these images as reference for my drawing :). Well, essentially I'm just copying them by pencil.

The amperiors are pretty V shaped, so no darkness or veil there. I've never had any issues with the hd600 veil. Coming from the T70s earlier in 2013, the laid back treble of the hd600s was quite a relief to my ears!

Rice crackers are pretty good... and yeah I think my favorite is Wan Wan as well. Pretty easy to get here in NYC's chinatown

.Pretty sweet for tablet/laptop that can run VNs haha. I'm still working on Kono Oozari ni, but I think I am near the end of a route. So far... honestly the most i'd give it is an 8.5. It doesn't quite have the appeal, excitement, or comedy to bring it up to a 9 just yet. CGs are nicely drawn though :D. The gallery selection is a bit messed up atm because of the restoration patch's H scene CGs.

Ah, haha. It's for conceptual art type stuff.

I'm currently doing a Hometest and I plan on using the stages of dementia (atrophy w/e) as my theme for a piece.

update: at page 20, too lazy to look for more. I'll prob just "fill in" two other brains by imagination.

I studied at the University of Geneva hehe

What kind of image are you looking for exactly? There are different scanners, hence the colors, and shapes. Try looking "ct scan brain" "MRI brain" "neuroimage brain" and add dementia to see what you can find.

I'm am looking for actual images of the brain at different stages. I don't really want any scans. What tags would I need for that?

So basically like fig 9 here: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3101879/#!

I need images because dementia as a process is easier to see on a physical level than with scans (for us non medical people).

So...how many episodes of Toradora do i need to watch to get hooked up?
I watched the first one just now and it really did not strike me as something special or better than your usual rom-com SoL.

@mice: They're supposed to be rich chocolate I believe. Not sure what that means, but that's what jlist said when I liked it up on their website...

Yeah lol, and it's fast enough to play any 1080p 10 bit files I throw at it now that I've tweaked MPC a bit. Still need to get a 64GB microSD card for it though so I can have more room for VNs, lol.

Ohhh, that game. Hmm, it looks very... Vanilla?

I must be confusing it with the momentum or something. I forgot which one
