Yep, that was quite a good AOTY list :D Thanks Jgray

Anyway, Gatchaman Crowds like he said, was surprisingly good. I was expecting Power Rangers as well, but his thoughts match mine. It was very similar in feel to Eden of the East.

GATCHA!

Gonna watch some Nagi no NTR schiit now. And then some outbreak company

Is that worth the watch? Sounds like I'd probably drop like I did with WA2

Outbreak and maou I've just waited for them to finish so I could mow it down.

Did you like Ano Hana?

That's all I know. I'm still on episode one, but everyone says its similar to Ano hana>?

Yeah, it's all about the ridiculous dialogues.
You are missing out on something ;)

Here some choice quotes that made me LOL fo realzies:

"“Best” manservice (and guiltiest pleasure): Free

(picture of schlong in speedos)

Truefax: According to the internet, this was the first time in the history of mass culture that men were sexualized for women’s visual pleasure"

"Best se[a] men eating motiff: Meganebu

(picture of licking "cream" off finger)

Let’s just say that I’ve got the very obvious nickname for this show down at the bottom."

"The Straight Cougar Memorial Award for most ridiculous Sunrise character name: ERU ERUFU

(L-Elf)

Yeah yeah, I know it’s really “L-11″ but ERU ERUFU sounds so much more stupid. Also, it is much to our collective sadness that because Gundam Build Fighters is set in the modern real world, there was a massive lack of ridiculous Gundam character names this year since that meant that they all have names like “Sei Iori” or “Ricardo Fellini” rather than “Natora Einus” or “Yurin L’Ciel”."

"This year’s “ZOMG ANIME IS DYING” award: Vividred Operation

(showing loli-ass in face, dialogue goes "PUSH IT, AOI!")

You know how everyone looks at a Jackson Pollock painting and thinks “Oh come on, I could’ve done that!”? Vividred Operation is the opposite in that everyone had already thought of the concept long before now and the mystery is why it took this long to come to fruition."

"Best shoujo: lol"

This is in fact the best anime award post ^o^

I just updated my battlestation back home! YESS!

Ok so I decided to use the big monitor as my 'main' monitor as I sit on the comfy couch, and then stick all the cables somewhere. Problem then was that there was a schiit ton of cables everywhere.

Panda time!

I got an old shoe box, cut some holes in it and threw everything in there.

First picture, you can see the HDD, USB Hub, Mac charger and some various stuff

My brother had a 'pedestal' for the Xbox 360 under the TV. I'm using it for my Mac now :D

Inside the box. I'm dropping everything in there :D

The USB Hub, and Apple charger have been moved in. I'm stuffing all the extra cables into it.

And BOOM! Shoe Box battlestation beneath the TV. The extra cable leaving the box to the 'bottom' is my wired mouse.

Behind shot of the TV, Mac and my 'laptop' table that I put my keyboard and mouse on.

I'm using my old Wireless Mechanical keyboard (White ALPS) on an old laptop desk.

Looks nice :D

HDD (2TB) with over 50 full anime on it? CHECK

USB HUB with the Wireless keyboard receiver and wired mouse plugged in? CHECK

Various holes for the APPLE charger cut out and plugged in? CHECK

Stuffing every other cable in? Check

Going to get a haircut now. But when I get back.

ANIME TIME!

How much NTR is in Nagi no NTR? I'm quite weak to NTR...so I don't know how I'll handle it.

Decided I kinda want a watch. I have a cheap Chinese fake, which I wore for like a week. While I hated how fake it looked, it did strike me how incredibly useful it is to have a watch. It's just so much easier to check the time by glancing your wrist instead of getting my huge phone out of my pocket and cramming it back in -- not to mention that if you wear gloves you have to remove those first as well.

Spent a couple hours doing research. While I want a decent watch, I'm not really that much into watch-fi, so I wanted to keep it as cheap as possible while still getting good quality. I set a budget of about €100.

Probably going to buy the black face Orient Union

I prefer Bulova for good everyday watches.

If it's not already labeled, will do. smily_headphones1.gif
You're going to need a serious knife to cut it open though. They're very thick-skinned. I think supermarkets like Viet-Wah sell spine-less ones that are frozen.

Oh okay, I'll probably go for one of those instead then...

Heh, hopefully it doesn't turn into Saya and all of us having to wait patiently for JAST and Nitro+ to come up with a release date over a year after they originally planned.

Oh, and do you have to complete all the quests and stuff in Rewrite in order to get all the endings, or can I just play through all the character routes, then get the terra, moon and oppai endings without doing all the quests?

The pre-order from Rightstuf says Feb 28 for steins;gate but it's probably just an estimate. Let me know if you ever find a copy of Rewrite for a reasonable price! It's available on jbox... but for $110 -_-. One of my top 5s... but don't really want to spend money on a box and CD.

All the quest entries, friends, etc are only necessary to unlock the oppai route. It really doesn't take that long to do that stuff, and they're usually pretty funny too.

Yeah, that's probably just something arbitrary that they put in so their database system wouldn't complain.

Yahoo auctions and buyee are your friend. ;)

http://auctions.search.yahoo.co.jp/search?ei=UTF-8&p=rewrite&tab_ex=commerce&auccat=23336&slider=0

Nothing good on there now, but sometimes you can get the limited edition with everything for around 3000 yen plus shipping.

Okay, thanks.

Jgray that list was brilliant. I completely agree with his choice for worst OP.

I looked at Bulova too. The only affordable model which I liked the looks of was the 96B104.
But I simply liked the looks of this Orient one better.

In any case I want a watch under €100 without one of those rotating bezels/tachymeter, with a leather band and with a date function. I also want it to look casual.

That is a purdy watch.

Why the simple design?

I hate those chronometer designs. Just looks too busy.
And I also don't like those rubber sports watches. They just look... fugly.

+1
Keep it simple (when it comes to watches).

Sorry, but the last person I would ask for an objective rating of the Watamote OP would be you.
