Calling for manga recommendation. Anything similar to the world building in SSY or Eden: It's an endless world? I'm kind of in the mood for those kinds of intelligent manga that doesn't rely too much on knowing characters, but rather overarching world.

No drive for anime next season, or hell this ending season too. The only thing I watched regularly is KILL LA KILL and its lighter not sexy kind-of-similar-maybe Gundam Build Fighters. Should get back to those that I have positively positive reaction (like Non non biyori and kyoukai no konata). Unless JJBA is next season though... then that's obviously best anime 2014.
Watashi no messiah sama (akin to madoka)
Psyren
Berserk
Immortal Regis(highly rec)
Legend of the Legendary Heros
HOTEL (oneshot by Boichi)
Sun Ken Rock
Death Note
The Breaker
Otoyomegatari
Claymore
Aflame Inferno
Break Blade
Gantz
Shin Angyo Onshi (highly rec, last phase is amazing)
Vagabond
Mirai Nikki

I spent a while typing this up on mobile and remembering.
Enjoy

Protip:
Don't do this.

When giving recommendations give 2-3 things max. Just give the 2-3 you think best, and if you can't decide then just do it at random.

In other news, I feel like reading manga too right now.
I tried reading Wittgenstein for a bit, but right now I don't feel like doing complex stuff like that. Just manga :S
(my mind is on lazy mode for the coming week still)

Gonna finish the scanslated chapters of Space Bros and then read Eden probably.

Newest version is May 2013.
I've never used anything other than 2.0 it seems.

Thanks, Secret Santa :D

And just a few minutes after I received the package, the sky finally cleared up!
All glory to the power of Psycho-Pass!

I think you may enjoy Watashi No messiah sama and Shin Angyo Onshi IF AND ONLY IF you finish both of them. The mind twists and all that happen later on.

Sigh~ apple, I'm so disappointed. *plays with rainbow beach ball for a while*

Just what the hell are you doing with my RAM???

The usage of all my processes added together is nowhere near 7.99GB....

I'd recommend 7 Seeds - an ongoing and epic post-apocalyptic survival manga.  Also you can checkout some of Kazuo Umezu's horror/sci-fi manga like The Drifting Classroom or Fourteen, all of them are bat**** insane though.  Another of my favorite is the Nausicaa manga which was expanded from the Miyazaki film.  It's far more ambitious and epic than the film.

Oh really?
I read like 20 chapters of Shin Angyo Onshi....entertaining but nothing that strikes me as super awesome.
Hmmm might have to pick it up again.

OH MY GOD YES.

In a way it sounds like Milk Closet (it's not hentai), with children fighting off eldritch beings on earth.

I'll check Pupa out, but I have a feeling that is going to be just some shallow incest guro hentai otaku fodder (the worst kind of H).
Also on my demo list:
Strange+
Nisekoi (just because SHAFT)

They actually made a second season of Maken-Ki?!
Good lord....

I watch pretty much everything so it would be a waste to lay it out for all of you wink.gif

My dark-horse pick (just from a description and photo, I dont read manga/LN) will be...... Nourin, because Silver Link has really been a studio on a roll lately. Noragami seems interesting too.

People seem hyped for Pupa, but I don't think they realize it's going to be short format 5/10/15 min episodes. I usually don't get hyped on those as they have to really cram in a story in a short time frame.

"A SF/horror manga that takes place in 2200. At a chicken manufacturing company, a certain chicken transforms into a supermutant named Chicken George. And so, a nightmarish journey through a twisted version of the future unfolds."

OH MY GOD YES AGAIN

Have I finally... found another twisted mind that does horror in the same twisted dimension (fufufu) like Junji Ito?
