I know that game, but I forgot the name of it. It was one of the games I wanted from the Humble Bundle.
When I first saw that screenshot, I thought "Bambi?"

That's Dust. It's on sale right now.

So I finished Black Lagoon and I have to say...same level as Cowboy Bebop.
It focuses on different aspects though.
The second half is definetely stronger than the first one. Not a single boring episode!
And the last 6 ones? More thrilling than a lot of stuff I've seen in years. Not just when it comes to anime.

So, onwards to the glorious OVA!

What bothered me the most near the end was that Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
all the build-up to finding the vial of anthrax did nothing.

Yeah, it's like 7˚C outside....

yakuza anime.

True, true Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
The whole trip seemed kinda random in the first place. Plus, why the hell would Squera and the ogre bother chasing them in any case? They had no reason to assume they were going for some special weapon in the first place, I think. Would be much more effective to just use the ogre to kill the remaining humans.

Oh yeah, that's what it was. I thought it was something I encounter every day. XD
And yup, it was Steam that had it, not the Humble Bundle.

No.
I'm just pointing out how little meaning Mshenay's statement had.

"WHAT an anime like Bebop but DIFFERNT."
The only information this sentence gives is that it is an anime; everything that is not identical is necessarily different.

I would call what I just did quite abstract. It was an abstract truth.

Oh sh.it, Schumacher had a skiing accident. What's worse, he's in a bad condition - his head injury looked minor, but turned out worse. Luckily, the doctors were prepared for such thing and were able to spot it fairly early. Still, they had to get a specialist neurosurgeon from Paris for that.

The quote (or so I thought) sounded like one of those "out there" kind of ideas

Half the thread cant read.

OP doesnt like TF2 and sets criteria.

Top comments are on TF2 being God of FPS and other recommendations dont fit criteria (Planetside 2)

Shinsekai Yori was one of those anime I was glad I motored through. I just took everything at face value though since my ADHD didn't really let me ponder on the other details and metaphors before I got derailed. I really love how Shinsekai showed humanity's impact on the world as it really expresses how we're completely ignorant to how we directly impact the world as we live out our lives. As for the meerkat/human situation in it could be interpreted in so many ways I don't even want to get started with that discussion.
