I flew to HK with Lufthansa and with Air China to Beijing.
Day-and-night difference.

Thanks!

Lufthansa was great. Singapore and Japan are currently my top favorites for airliners.

LOL. That's interesting.

You didn't know? It's supposed to be a blend between Melee and Brawl (for battle speed). I'll still prefer Project M for Melee styled fighting (or Melee itself but I don't want to do more softmodding to get my gamecube .iso's to work).

This.

Meta Knight will probably make it. Masahiro Sakurai is in charge of Super Smash Bros U (SSB4 for what most call it for now) and he's the creator and director of Kirby, so I'm sure he'll include Meta Knight.

Hopefully man, but seeing how "broken" some are calling him, I kinda doubt that he will be back in the exact form (maybe much more nerfed?)

Snake even worse thanks to the uncertainties regarding Playstation's version of Smash Bros

Looking at maybe picking up some new circumaural 'phones in the $600-1,200 price range. There are too many choices and the one's that seem like they'd have the sound signature I would want are out of the price range.... it's making me angry.

I'm looking for something with a warm signature. I've listened to the LCD 2.2 and those are too far towards warm for me and from what I see the LCD X or 3 would be a brighter version of that but as mentioned those are too $$. The HE500 seem like a possibility but everyone and thier mom seems to agree they aren't very comfy, and they are picky about amps. This is leaving me with something like the Alpha Dog or TH600. I have heard the 600 and liked them a bit, they just seemed to be $200 too expensive for thier performance.

Anything I should look into my AAMML friends?

I just took out the Super Mario 3D World disc out of the box and I immediately thought "woah, this disc feels unusually smooth...."

Not lying, I had to compare it to other discs I have around to make sure my sanity was in check.
LOL. That's interesting.

Yeah it was so weird when I held the disc in my hand. XD
The disc itself seems slicker than normal too.

I hope they change Meta Knight's moveset a bit, or at least give him fewer invincibility and/or priority frames/attacks. He's broken in Brawl. >.>

@TYG, that's not surprising at all I rarely drop an anime that I make it ~4 episodes into, but I dropped that one. I still hate Valverave though D:<<br />

Nice! I'm looking forward to seeing a new Metal Gear [Solid] game if they make another.

@Mechgamer123
You need to visit the Easy Street Records restaurant/music store. They've got a lot of good things over here. I saw a few SACDs, 1 5.1 channel DTS album, TLC's old albums, Andrea Bocelli......and freaking Merzbow. -_-

They have a huge collection of vinyl records too upstairs.

Restaurant on the left, music shop on the right.

Chorizo sausage vegetable hash brown mix.

The TH600s aren't really warm imo. Personally I'd get the Alpha Dogs > TH600s (because of comfort), but to be honest, they were a bit underwhelming the last time I heard em. Perhaps you could wait? If not, I think the Alpha Dogs would be best. And actually, the Alpha Dogs aren't too warm though. They neutral with a tinge of warmth (whatever that means).

Honestly, there isn't alot of action in the full sized market. It's all in IEMs/CIEMs these days :)

On another note, is the Kill La Kill OST out yet?

Don't agree with most of it and done by a headphone selling site. Great stuff.

I went there two years ago. Stayed at my cousins house.
The view from my room was quiet nice :3

Stayed there almost three weeks and got to see pretty much all sides (and sights) of HK.
Everyday I got up at around 10pm, packed my bag and went out till late at night, just wandering through the city :)
Did so many things and even made friends with some people there!
Spent almost $1300 there just foor food, the MTR and stuff like this xD

Oh and then I went to Beijing for three days with the son of my cousin. He speaks a bit of mandarin which was super helpful.
Beijing is just sad to look at.
It has some really nice districts like 798 or the one around these three big lakes (can't remember how it's called).

But most of the time you got to see either really poor districts like this:

Or skyscrapers. Nothing in between.

The crappy photo above is a great example of the thing that pissed me off the most there.
The government stomped all the old and culturally relevant districts down, just to put some stupid ugly skyscrapers there.
Seriously, all the traditional Hutongs, roads, shrines and whatnot. Gone. Just to place one of these huge, grey and ugly buildings there.
There is like a mile of empty space between them! Nothing but barren land.
We also drove past a district for the rich people that had a ten feet high wall around it, just to keep all the lowlife out. It was disgusting.
This city is commiting cultural suicide.

Another great example. When I got there, they recently finished a huge new highway there. Had to do some bulldozer action and kick thousands of people out of their houses but whatever.
At least they built their stupid highway that no one is using:

Overall, I was pretty happy that we only stayed there for three days.....
Just writing this here is pissing me off again :D

Hongkong is so much nicer :3

HE-500. I never personally found the HE-400 or 500 to be uncomfortable at all.

Sigh, the Comiket 85 stuff for Key has been announced and I found out about it. Do want, even though it's 5k yen plus shipping and fees and shizzle... T_T http://c85.product.co.jp/#key

Just to add a note that while it is a depressing thought of bulldozing old things and all that in Beijing and the surrounding areas.

What you have right now in the world (HK) included is mearley the state of that place AFTER everything was already bulldozed and taken down.

Beijing and mainland China fell behind decades in the course of history socially. This meant that if you were to analyze a lot of what Beijing and PRC is doing right now, you would see it having near direct co-relations to what Europe and HK did many many years ago.

HK, many parts of Europe and USA are but places that are beautiful because they got rid of the 'old' many many decades ago and so it now seems good and new and that the 'problem' is now gone.

Same with the seperation of poor and rich. It's but a mere fact of the world and in many places

I'm not saying this is a right thing of course. Not at all. But that what you are mentioning is of an extremelly double standard.

Ah I should re-word that... "warm-er", I am an AKG fan after all.

@Panda, I read that thread ages ago, it was quite informative for the rare stuff. I have listened to most of the high-end offerings, so as Eve mentioned I think I may just have to wait as most of the new products don't seem to be quite what I'm looking for.

@TYG, thanks for sharing the pictures! I would love to visit HK.

I'd say Alpha Dogs would be a pretty good warmish full size.  Maybe the HD650.

You are probably right about all this, but I think that it is still a little bit different in Beijing.
The city lost all it's personality just because the Chinese government wants too keep up with the rest of the world, no matter what it costs.
Pointless prestige **** everywhere! We drove past another one of these "rich people ghettos" that was completely empty. Not a single person was living there because they don't have enough rich people to put in there! And instead of letting normal mortal people live there, they just closed the gate and let everything rot.
Dont't get me started on the government buildings. These things have a mile long front, but are only about 200 feet deep. Just to "impress" people.
Policemen and cameras everywhere.
They give a **** about the not so wealthy people.
Take this as an example:

This huge city is not able to provide to it's people a proper power grid.

This whole "tabula rasa" went a loooot smoother and carefully in Europe, HK and so on.
If China wants to catch up this bad and with means like this, the result is almost certainly going to look ugly. In more than one way.

Nice! I'm looking forward to seeing a new Metal Gear [Solid] game if they make another.

I think I've held a few awkwardly smooth discs before and was wondering what was happening. I don't remember what those discs were though.

In addition lower the amount of lag before and after attacks. One or the other.

DACUS is interesting. SHFFLing seems like a problem when it comes to having to jump higher. Shouldn't be too much of an issue though, since you can still fast fall and l-cancel.

Edit: the cool thing is that some characters have very little lag on the fall animation (ex. Marth) so you don't even have to worry about L-canceling.

The cameras are easy to get used to, especially if you see 10+ perched atop of each traffic light you drive by.
