Keep in mind I have never in my life spent more than $10.00 (USD) on headphones before these. :P
It's all a matter of perspective.

EDIT: if that was a comment about the difference between headphones and earbuds or something similar, I don't care. They are the same thing to me.

I see doing math problems more as an ability rather than knowledge.

Absolutely.
I suck at math and my mind can't wrap around the fact that people can actually be good at it.
I'm pretty good at "normal" mathematics though! Got a B+ in accounting :3

I really really like Kaga Koko's character from Golden Time.

Not that the character itself is good, but in just how well Golden Time is relaying the genius and realism of her to us. It's absolutely mind blowing.

Maybe I need to know Raiden's history. I didn't understand a lot of the story for Rising. I could have sworn there was a PSP Metal Gear game that featured Raiden...or maybe it is this game. I just remember a demo with Raiden slicing a watermelon and everyone was flipping over that slicing gameplay mechanic. As cool as it is, it gets pretty repetitive in the game since that's basically the only way to effectively kill anything...

It's like the Crysis of sword fighting with dem carbon nanotube drivers nanosuits. XD

This video makes SO much more sense now after watching that playthrough.

I prefer the gameplay of the Metal Gear Solid series more with stealth being a major game mechanic. MGS4's multi-cloaking device thingamabob was freaking awesome from the plays I've seen.

The more I watch this series, the more I want to call it genius.

It's almost like Gintama in the sense that its a parody. But its also different. While its a parody of a romcom anime. It's still very much a romcom.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

In Romcom's, during those romcom moments of hilarious jokes and comedy, it is almost unreal and not something that is 'really' happening or that means much. Funny and light hearted OST music and a lot of general visual, audio, and story cues are thus used and have been engrained in us to mean X Y or Z. Golden Time knows this.

Golden Time thus parodies (but still is essentially) the rom com anime genre by using those general cues that we have all been taught subconciously to look for and gives us a completely different message than what the cues are telling us.

I posted this a while back

Kaga Koko, and her extremely deep and developed personality is an example of this. The series first gives you the subconciously associative visual, sonic or story cue but then in between all that mess. Gives you some extreme characterization.

The latest example of this would be ,in this episode 12, during the intimate moment with Banri at the end in the dark room. The series gave you a general anime clue. Dark room, two opp sex characters together AND a nice relaxing and intimate OST. But in between them. Koko and Banri's exchange of words. The most stricking one besides asking Banri to forget everything is "Will you understand?".

Did any of you notice truly the sheer anxiety that Koko has?

Her overplaying, extreme fakitude, and dominance in social situations is visible yeah. Obviously she has some mental issues. But did you 'truly' notice? The line 'Will you understand" and how she acts in different situations and how the rom com shapes how you view her are some of the most extraordinary things I have seen.

The romcom on purpose knows its an anime and can only give you slight glimpses of Koko's life. The episode where she brough 2D Kun and Yana san into Banri's room after he was sick. Hahah, funny that she was worried right? haha right? The anime once again uses the users own idea of a rom com and the cues and general idea of what the scene will have to characterize the characters. (most of the time Koko).

Her anxiety, need for purpose, and coping mechanisms were being shown during nearly all of those funny haha, light hearted OST moments. Those cues essentially mask the importance of it. Esentially, using a basis of anime and romcom's to hide extreme characterization into it.

Kaga isn't 'realistic' by any means, but she does exhibit very deep realistic traits and thats what makes me so excited about her as a character.

Almost every hint, and thing she has said, has been something I immediately picked up on(not always) because of my sense of anxiety as well.

Texting people a lot to make sure they understand, asking abstract questions on understanding if they even truly got what I mean, worrying about this small thing. I wonder at times if I like Koko so much because she resembles me. In public, the more nervous I get, the more dominating I become. I become louder in voice, and more pronounced in body language when I give public speeches. I make crude jokes to hide my weakness, and say stuff I don't really mean. I was also pretentious at many points in my life socially to fit in. I also developed obsession of some things that didn't matter at all to others for no reason, and worried endlessly over it.

Does this sound like anyone here? Kaga Koko. The anime hides those 'in between' details. In these last 12 episodes, the anime has slowly been building up Kaga's characterization by showing you her change in thought. It's like taking out frames of a film and letting you piece together what she went through or what she thought differently of in the past.

It's genius.

I've a lot of favorite female MC's, but none of them are as realistically themed as Kaga Koko is.

Overall, Kaga Koko is an absolutely phenomenal character.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
But now that they've kinda reached a "happy end", what are they gonna do for the next 12 eps???

I dunno but I felt the show could have ended perfectly right there.....

Nah. It was MG:R. It was the first, basically proof-of-concept demo. Both PSP games featured Big Boss, back in the 60's IIRC. Raiden wasn't probably even born back then.

Also,
