Digital out = USB end
Line out = 3.5 mm end
*typically

But then wouldn't that mean it would be impossible to have a line out from a Lightning, because you would need a DAC in the cable? The original 30-pin connector was analog, but the Lightning is digital.

Did you receive the details for that project you were thinking about earlier?

I did get the prompts. I'm still thinking of ideas to utilize binaural audio though.

FLAC Player+ in the App Store. That should solve some of your problems. 64GB is a HUGE, I wish I had that.

Though it you are going for loseless, WAV also works. Without any apps.

Oh, why thank you. I was not aware. I am assuming that you have to upload them manually (not through iTunes)?

Uh, you plug your iPhone into your computer and go the "Apps" page in iTunes. it should be there somewhere.

I think that counts as manually?

Ah, there we go then. There does exist a Lightning to 30-pin adaptor, which would be able to extract a line out connection. But yeah...options do seem limited with a Lightning dock. >.>

Ho damn, that memory goes away quick with FLACs. XD Thank you for the info, that helped me greatly. :)

I have one. That is what Panda was talking about too. I am pretty sure that the DAC chip in the cable is crap though. ): Damn I wish I still had my Classic.

After seeing you guys talk about that one... I down loaded it too >.>

I'll let you know what I thought when I get around to watching it!

Lol okay, let me know what you think of it. :)

I already started on the second season. It honestly feels like a completely different series. Meh, oh well!

Wish they'd have a e18diy. Have a spare s3 collecting dust. Gonna probably put cm11 or paranoid rom on it and maybe one day pair it with the e18.

Jeezus, that's more than the standard E12. Why do they charge so much???

This is not the Haruhi we were looking for. Some of us anyway.........

Guess any new related work is good news at this point.

Any news is good news, right?

I was considering it, but there are several reasons why I don't necessarily want to. First, because I paid far too much money for a 64 GB iPhone 5 to hold music, and it would feel like a waste. Second, because I've always used iPods and so the vast majority of my music library is in iTunes, all nice and organized. I'm sure that my music tags are chaotic beyond belief. DX Third, because I also wanted to be able to use whatever amp I buy with other devices.

I'm sure I will indeed get a better DAP once I have more money. But at the moment, I think an amp is higher priority for me. On that note, this thing looks like it would be an awesome DAP.

Yay, another iTunes user~

Lol. I plan to stick to Classics until they're no longer made and the Chinese run out of replacement parts for them...

Yay, added another .2 days of anime to my MAL profile! All while still going out and doing stuff and kind of having a life! W00t.

I also finished watching Another. I thought it was pretty lame though, especially since my friend kept comparing it to Higurashi, but it's nowhere near as good... -_-

Well, a friend of mine actually preferred the cartoons over the series so I guess he'll be satisfied... :-)

Cartoons?

As in: really short, simple, comedic, not exactly set in particular time (or even place), being more of an animated equivalent of a comic strip, rather than a full-blown series.

I know, most people don't exactly agree with me about it. Whatever.

On December 15, 2013, 36-year-old Hirofumi Watanabe was arrested, not for any ordinary crime, but for waging a terrorism/hate war against a hugely successful manga – Kuroko no Basuke (“Kuroko’s Basketball“) – and its author, Tadatoshi Fujimaki. Watanabe says that his motive is jealousy.

On October in 2012, a plastic container containing a liquid capable of releasing poisonous hydrogen sulphide was left on the second floor in the gymnasium of Tokyo’s Jochi University, with a note attached that read, “I hate Fujimaki.” This was the alma mater of Tadatoshi Fujimaki. Then, on 15 October a threatening letter was delivered to Fujimaki’s former high school, which also reportedly contained a “white powder” — a potentially poisonous substance or a very real threat of one. By the end of October, similar letters were sent to broadcasters in Tokyo and Osaka who were airing the anime version of Kuroko’s Basketball.

Soon, marketing events and Kurorko-themed shows were being cancelled because of these threatening letters that were being received. Just recently, Watanabe was arrested in Shibuya, Tokyo, and was charged with “interfering with business.” According to police he was picked-up while putting letters into mail boxes in the Shibuya District. Found in Watanabe’s backpack were 20 threatening letters to organizers of a high school basketball tournament and Comiket demanding cancellations.

When caught, Watanabe reportedly admitted “I’m sorry, I lost,” and “I was working alone.” When asked of his motives for doing these acts and holding a grudge against Fujimaki and Kuroko’s Basketball, Watanabe reportedly said that he never met the manga artist but “was jealous of his success.” This “jealousy’ was also mentioned in a letter to the Mainichi newspaper, which read, “Fujimaki who lived a blessed life, and I who have never experienced anyone’s love.”
