I usually drink hot tea.

Or listen to some chill music when working on something.

ok... I think something is seriously wrong with me now.
I drank a cup of coffee around half an hour ago hoping to stay up tonight and finish my paper...

now I'm experiencing some abnormal muscle spasms and fatigue.

I rarely drink coffee so I'm guessing I might be very sensitive to caffeine?

This is terrible.... I need to finish my paper.....

Yeah, I never drink coffee and often experience discomfort when I do. I prefer very strong gunpowder tea for all-nighters instead.

Well, It's dying (randomly shuts down and crashes) and it doesn't have USB3.0 which makes it pretty annoying to transfer large files.
Ah, so the newer one you got has USB 3? Did you buy it new or used?
A mac failing? Nonsense!

I dunno, it depends on the CMoy's components, but those measurements don't look too good. :|

Oh my. My childhood video game of choice: Mega Man 2 on the Nintendo Entertainment System. Interesting remixes. I like the Bubble Man one the most, but the Password Screen also brings back a lot of memories after dying so much in the game. XD

No wonder why I like the Bubble Man song so much:

i like it.  and last time I checked; Tyll didn't have his measurement equipment completely setup.  http://www.innerfidelity.com/images/AllAmpGraphs.pdf

looking at the graphs some are obviously weird.  like the alo audio phase response.

The FR curve goes way beyond what you can hear.  normals like 20-20k.  The FR goes to like 100k or something.  Not gonna hear anything close to that.

"Some of the amps measured very well (like the Pico and O2) and some did not. The problem is figuring out if an amp was measuring poorly because it's just poorly designed, or because of some problem with my test equipment or procedure. Sadly, I think there's a bit of both going on. Let's step through some of the amps in the .pdf (Headphone Amps .PDF here), I'll explain some things about the measurement interpretation as we go along." - Tyll

This is true. Amp measurements going beyond the 20 kHz region is not that uncommon from what I've seen around.

But something has to be extremely whacky in Tyll's measuring gear if the O2 was near perfect with NwAvGuy's measurements and it fails with other amps. Some of the measuring parameters were messed up in the first PDF.

Something is off... Maybe user error. Lol. So I dunno how trust worthy those measurements are. Hopefully he gets is squared away and remeasure everything.

Yeah, they like measuring beyond useful measurements in case people believe that some can hear better than others.

Ew "rraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhwwwwwwww" vocals. frown.gif

Reminds me of darkness and death. Not the kind of music I listen to, sorry.

I'll go back to my relaxing rock music.

No need to feel sorry here :P

Just a well written article to explain some of the more....off-putting traits of Extreme Metal :)
More or less the same stuff I always tell people if they start talking sh*t about a music genre they barely even know anything about.

Not my kinda thing either. I can get about as far as heavy metal, but any harsher than that just doesn't do it for me.
