Ooh, that would be awesome if you got to go to uni in Kyoto! Tell me again if you've already said it, but are there any additional fees you have to pay for studying abroad, or is it all covered in your tuition?
Lol, nice. Hopefully I can go to a real concert someday too. Probably not Queens of the Stone Age though; I only have one song of theirs...
Yes, a 3.7 is very high, but it's also very competitive at our school. Over 900 students apply, and I believe they only accept 200-300 students per year? Our uni is basically Microsoft's school so the CS program is very good and is in very high demand.
No additional fees, plus I'll probably get in a dormitory which costs only about 12k yen per month.
Do listen some more to QOTSA. It's awesome. Although I do admit it took months for me to start appreciating it, I basically only like it because a friend in high school is a huge fan of them. (the same guy I went to the concert with)
Hmm, that make sense. How large is your university? I mean, we have courses with similar amount of applicants (all of which get accepted), but then you're talking about law or psychology. Usually CS ain't that popular, or your uni is just very specialized.
