Indeed you can't wait for it.

@ Tracey
Yeah I don't think it's the 2 kHz dip in the SE846. This still sounds okay to me with the SRS-2170. The harpsichord isn't really audible, and the vocals sound way off in timbre(?), but the voice is still clearly heard.

I don't quiet get the whole concept of this, but it sounds really exciting!

Trying to find a 1 Tb 7200 RPM external hard drive with thunderbolt compatibility is tough...

I've been hearing that 5400 rpm is pointless with thunderbolt too.

Thanks.

I've been trying to find a portable one as well.

I've heard horror stories with Lacie products though. Apparently the thunderbolt cable burns up...

Well you either go portable with a 5400 RPM and less than 1 TB, or you go desktop with a 7200 RPM and more than 1 TB. XD
USB 3.0 is still pretty decent too ya know?

I feel that I'm wasting the 2 thunderbolt ports on my Mac though. There really isn't much I can connect them to. That's really the only reason why I'm opting for thunderbolt.

Also, 2 usb ports is too little for me. I might have to get a usb hub instead then.

Yeah, I talked it over with one of my friends and he said it probably has to do with other factors too such as the THD, CSD graphs, phase response, and whatnot. Iono, all I can say is that they don't sound good to my ears...

Why even worry about it? USB3 is more bandwidth than a mechanical hard drive can use.

Also, eve you dastardly devil:

Even with USB 3.0, you'd be hard pressed to find a 7200 RPM, ≥ 1 TB portable external hard drive.

Most people use external monitors with the Thunderbolt connection, or a desktop hard drive.

It's 8 months into the future of the main manga

BUT uses a new cast. There are no spoilers for what happens in the current manga and builds off of it very well....

Arashi does tell you a few things though. I won't say what they are but its quite good.

Eh?

Music is simply so much more coherent and involving. This can transform the sound of both WAV and FLAC files and the results with high resolution downloads are simply stunning.

the Sarum Tuned ARAY Ethernet cables brings flow, coherence, dynamics and detail that put together make music more alive and more involving.
Sounds like Beats by Dre marketing. Yeah, no.
My lossless FLAC files will magically transform into super-lossless-quality sound from a single cable switch. You use lossless files with lossy cables? Try this cable instead! My life has never been better. You can experience the superior audio quality of a simple cable switch for only the price of...oh wait, it's more than any single component of your audio system. Ha, sucks to be you.

What song does this sound like to you all?

It sounds really familiar.
