Yeah. Compared to this season, that season is pretty schitty :/

The amount of Japanese French in that plaque as a way to try to imitate exquisite French places/restuarants is too dayum high.

That roughly translates to:

"It's a restaurant on the hills".

.................

Good, I can devote all of my winter break to VNs and older anime then... :veryevil:

LOL, usually I cringe pretty hard when I see any non-Japanese language in anime...

Yup, and remember last winter was mighty superb. JoJo, Psychopass... Compared to even just that, that winter line up is worse. Hell I'd say this year's summer line up is better than that.

I still haven't watched jojo yet... :X

But yes, I'd agree. At the least, summer had monogatari SS.

Next season looks absolutely terribad though. Other than possibly sailor moon? Anyone know the details on that?

I'll probably also have to watch chu2 as well since I saw the first season. The only thing I remember is that the OP and ED were pretty decent...

And this winter chart?

Gonna watch: Space Dandy

Gonna check out: Sailor Moon (can't get around that)
Chuunibyou (need to watch the first season...)

That's about it....

Lol, your uni starts this late? :0

Space dandy kinda reminds me of bobobobobobobobobobobo.

I had almost three months of summer vacation.
And now I'm in the third semester and have to redo two entire classes/lectures/subjects/whatever from the frist semester on top of all the new stuff. I feel like standing in front of the K2 (Himalaya would be a bit too much).

Space Dandy is by the dude who made Cowboy Bebop.
No way that this is going to be bad (maybe not really my cup of tea though :P).

This video (and the other similar ones) made my day :D
Haven't laughed that hard in a while!
The games are alternated with an emulator that randomly fuggs with the code.....with hilarious results xD

Ernie turns into a black hole and starts speaking in tongues :D

It's just too damn funny.

Actually the thing I just stated is way easier than that. It's just that the jargon tends to scare people away from something otherwise really really simple.

A ring is a set in which you can add things and multiply things together without getting something outside of the set. Additionally there is a subtraction too, such that x + -x = 0.
The integers modulo 2 are what you get when after each operation (multiplication or addition) you divide it by two and take the remainder of that as new number. For example 2+3 becomes 1 (5 = 4+1), and 2+2 becomes 0.

I was able to explain that in just a couple sentences, and vector calculus requires heaps and heaps of theorems before you even get to do anything at all. I take it most people can divide, add, subtract and multiply on the other hand.

Loved how the show was real-life plausible. How you see people work hard in it. And succeed.
Great stuff really, though it's extremely long and kind of hard to recommend to people merely because it's already almost 80 episodes in and not quite sure how long it'll continue. The manga isn't complete either.
Just like how people won't get me started on One Piece. Too much to catch up.

As a space-nut friend of mine pointed out, it's very true to the constellation program. Though that was one of the things bothering him actually, since he sometimes rants about how the constellation program is not a proper priority in spaceflight, and that the focus should be put on other things instead. The rockets used in spaceflight and the majority of the modules are pretty realistic as well, though the arc with Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Hibito and the other astronaut getting stuck in a crater and Hibito almost running out of air yada yada,
was pretty unrealistic if you ask me (and my friend).

Other than that, truly hats off for actually creating something fairly realistic.

Hmmm, it has Gin no Saji S2, so in that respect it's at least similar. I think it'll be on the same low level as summer.

Ch 6 now.....It's very off putting. Slice of life, weird comedy mix with real life feeling.

Anyway, nothing exciting yet..

It's a bit disconcerting how the characters joke and go super-deformed around the most inappropriate things in the story.

It's been a whole day and I still can't get over how the MC shrugged off the end of the story like that.  But I can't talk about it here for fear of spoiling...

Hmm, that sounds rough. At least you're not starting over from scratch though!

Ah, that would make sense then. That was the other show I thought it looked like...

Ah okay. When you say it like that, it sounds really easy! I've actually already been using the mod operator in my java class!

I might hit you up on that offer if I come across anything challenging. At the moment though I think I have most of it down. Hopefully...

Now you can officially call yourself an audio snob!

Do you have a lot of members? I imagine it won't be easy to find that many members and to organize proper club activities.

Heh, yeah :D

Michelle and I just set the club up, so there aren't any members other than just us five officers. I don't know how we will organize proper activities either, but we were thinking of maybe learning how to use soundboards and running the audio for other clubs/concerts/ect.

Dang, new apple stuff looks really tempting. Any guesses on how much I could get out of a 64GB 3rd gen iPad that's jailbroken, comes with 2 cases and is in immaculate condition?

The new iPad air (terrible name but whatever) looks awesome. This thing is just way too darn heavy and big to hold with one hand. The new air looks like it should work much nicer. Also, the new MBPs with retina displays are even cheaper! O.o

Tempted to get the 15" quad core one over the dual core in the 13" though.

Or you could just sit around, drink tea and eat cake after school.
I heard that works too.
Already spotted other audiophools at your university?
So far, I only spotted one Infection Biology master student person with some cheaper Westones.
And loads of Beats :P

Tablet PCs?
No, thanks.
Apple tablet PCs?
No, thanks.

I'll hold out on updating the chart until Moetron releases theirs.

Yay. We should hold an Alpha Dog meet and put up a collaborative review video. :p

Basically nothing cool. Free upgrade....meh I'll wait until the next update to iron out the bugs that tend to happen (think iOS 7!).

Jokes relating to 'downloading more RAM' are appearing online now lol.

I have never really seen Apple at being amazing at Desktop OS's but taking into consideration facts and many aspects of what they have been doing and have now done in the last year. I dare say that Apple has some sensible software engineers.

What's so special about this OS X?

Halfway through the Endless Eight.
.......wow

It is not boring at all!
No idea how they are doing it, but each episode is eerier and more menancing than the last one.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
This giant cloud is freaking me out!
Never thought I would be creeped out by a stupid cloud.....

Oh and I don't even want to think about what an indescribable torture all this must be for Nagato.
