I just filmed this downstairs..

Dare ya to watch one episode of that wrestling anime. And you filming yourself watching it. When everyone in the house up awake and can hear the TV.

Man, every single time I listen to Guilty Crown OST, I imagine Inori all alone and Shue in their world

And think, maybe the anime wasn't that bad and only needs a rewatch?

And then I remember the anime and go

.....oh god no.

And it wouldn't work. The house is pretty much sound proof by the floor level. The construction used, how tall all the ceilings used and the material in between each floor makes it hard to hear anything. We live on the third floor, basement is the first floor.

At Full occupancy, we can probably have around 500-600 people in the house at a time (party for example) but so far only 35 of us live there.

The basement has 350 occupancy limit. The outside space can hold another 100 on the patio. Upstairs dining room fits around 150 in just that room. Include the 3 lounge's and libraries on the second floor and another 50-100 could be there. Then add in the lounge upstairs etc etc. All these are based on fire occupancy signs in the rooms.

This used to be a frat house so obviously. 35 beds, BUT was supposed to have huge capacity for frat members that didn't live there but would party or just go there.

Oh but as soon as I take the car to drive somewhere, I start complaining about those kamikaze bicyclists.

That's just how it is :3

Paying attention to traffic lights, cars and other cyclists is for the weak!

Pupa fricking announced the series and got everything ready and done for it.....

BUT NEVER SIGNED A TV DEAL.....because they want uncensored airing. Have they tried ATX? Probably. If ATX is hesitant even about pupa. I can't imagine how gory and awesome this anime is going to be.

The music is great and the animations are top-notch (pretty important when you have someone playing an instrument IMO)

Not sure if I'll continue both of them. Need to watch some more episodes.

Lots of drama is an understatement.

The more you dislike a show, the more it means I may like it. And the more you rant about how awesome a show is, the more I will watch it probably.

So in short you claim that whether or not Jgray likes or dislikes a show, you'll watch it? Where's the use in that.

His ranting lol

Most of the series you guys like are objectively good. I know that. Only problem then for me, is if it is enjoyable for me.

I can basically give Bakemonogatari a 9/10 as an innovative anime that does so much 'right'. I have already done some analyzation of its usage for perspective, and which character is saying what and how they want to be perceived and how the anime uses those point of views and feelings in its presentations. I can do that. But in the end, I hate the series with a mighty hammer in terms of me falling asleep at it. I get 0 enjoyment out of it. 0.

You guys being enjoyed at an anime thus gives me an idea of an objectively good series. The problem then for me is if I will enjoy it.

And then when Jgray actively rages at the ecchi in another anime. I know that will then probably be a show I will watch lol

Real bad example. I hate monogatari series. It's got excellent animation, but it's extremely boring and has way too much focus on fan service and moe if you ask me.

The second season isn't garbage, it's just that Kyoani decided to spend 8 episodes pulling a groundhog day.

Personally, I watched about 4 of them before skipping the rest.

If you don't wanna have anything to do with the second season, just watch episode 14 (iirc at least, I believe it was called Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody, it sets up some stuff for the movie).

If you really love the show, go ahead and sit through all 8 episodes though!

Otherwise, I would recommend just watching the first and last episode of that arc and watching the other 4 episodes normally.

Wait on the Haruhi movie until you finish everything else.

I'm afraid you might not like it as much as I did though, considering you've seen a few other series that do some of the themes explored in the movie a bit better...

8 episodes in a Groundhog Day style?
Wow that sounds interesting :D
I mean, Steins;Gate was kind of like that too.

Not so much your roommate, just the dude who I said hi to in the hallway whom you said was drunk.

Woah, I didn't know you thought monogatari was that boring! It's actually pretty entertaining in my eyes...

Wait, you think monogatari series has too much moe? There's a bit of fanservice, but nothing insane compared to your average ecchi ****.

You'll get used to it eventually. It makes it scarier, IMO.

Yep, it sucked...

Well, there's that too, but I'm actually talking about another element of both plots that I don't want to spoil...

Oh yes. Little Busters Refrain episode 3 used Song for Feels for the ED!

It fits perfectly! All those feels!!!!!

#AOTY

Also, they give away a good amount about the plot from the opening and ED songs, as well as the very beginning of the first episode. Not sure if anyone picked up on it or not though...
